With over two decades of experience in the beauty industry, Christopher Catanese has held roles as a Stylist, Creative Director, and General Manager at several boutique salons across New Jersey. His work has been featured in American Salon and The Colorist, reflecting his expertise and influence within the industry. In addition to his salon leadership, Christopher has worked as an independent consultant throughout the Tri-State Area, seamlessly blending creative vision, business expertise, and a knack for reinvention.

Christopher’s career reached new heights in 2005 when he joined an internationally renowned creative team, where he advanced to the position of Education Director. His passion for sharing knowledge has taken him across the country, co-facilitating cutting seminars, showcasing international collections, and lending his talents to prestigious events like New York Fashion Week and Miami Swim Week.

Recognized for his ability to inspire and engage both on stage and online, Christopher’s influence continues to grow through social media and a dedicated clientele. In 2023, he was named a Top 100 finalist in the One Shot Hair Awards, standing out among more than 200,000 entries across multiple categories, including Natural Texture, Shag Mullet, and Fringe.

Now, with the launch of his own salon, Frei, Christopher is excited to begin this new chapter. Fueled by his dedication to the craft and commitment to nurturing growth and creativity, he aims to provide an exceptional, best-in-class experience for both clients and his team.
